On September 12–13, 2024, the 1st Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering Innovation Development Conference was successfully held in Beijing, China. As a major event in the domestic oil and petrochemical engineering innovation space, the conference aimed to stimulate new drivers for innovation, promote high-end, green, safe, and efficient development in the sector, and support China’s “dual carbon” (carbon peak and carbon neutrality) goals.

The event brought together nearly 300 representatives from major players such as CNPC, Sinopec, CNOOC, PipeChina, China Energy, as well as research institutes, universities, and industry enterprises. A total of 28 keynote speeches were delivered by leading scholars and industry experts.
